FIELA...

My name is Felicia de Beer, I operate under my nickname FIELA. I am a small town girl that found myself in the big city not to long ago. After completing my degree in Clothing and Retail management I went on to work for House of Busby- Guess as a buyer in Johannesburg. Not feeling creatively challenged enough I packed my bags and headed to Vietnam. 

Living in Asia for a year has opened my mind and broadened my vision to look at all aspects of life in a creative and beautiful way. Find the beauty in the ugly, find the light in the mood and find creativity in the most simplistic situations. 

This is the approach I use when styling a look and taking a photograph. Embracing the cultures of South Africa and not being afraid to play with colour to create a truly artistic feel. 

After being on holiday in Hermanus in December I decided to stay in the Mothercity with nothing but my car and a suitcase full of beach clothes. I am a traveling soul with a good camera and a good eye. 

During this time I have been lucky enough to be a stylist on sets like SuidOoster for Homebrew Films and Die Spreeus for Marche Media. I've also coordianted styled shoots doing the styling, photography  for One Love The Fashion shack and Trope Clothing.
